How about it....

Although I didn't get much interest the first time I mentioned a swap, even if a couple of people want to participate I'm still going to hold one. I think it will be fun.

Rules:
1. Total cost spent shouldn't exceed 10 dollars (including shipping) - Let's try to be creative with what we've already got!!!
2. Everyone who wants to participate can email me at agohl85 @ gmail dot com with your name and address. I will send you another person's name and address to send your swap item to. Please send me an email by June 3rd if you would like to participate. I will send an email back to you by June 11th.
3. All packages should be sent out by the end of June. Let me know if that isn't enough time and I can extend the date into July.
4. Item should be hand made.

Alrightie ladies, lets get creative. :)

P.S. This month marks my 1 year blogaversary, so I am going to put together a giveaway. I am going out of town this next weekend, so I might not have it up right away, but check back soon!

Retirement Gift

Oof.... Sorry I've been MIA... Had Bronchitis again, kept me pretty much out of commission this week. Tonight, hubby and I are going to a small dinner party to celebrate the retirement of my first boss. She was a great boss, pretty much the best first boss a person could wish for. As a gift, we bought her a book on what to do with her self as a retiree and I made up a small notebook that I got from Staples.

Supplies:
Paper: K&Company Amy Butler, the back of a small card for the red glossy color
Embellishments: Prima flowers, Hero Arts rhinestones and Queen and Company rhinestones, also used a punch to punch out those small flower shapes (punch was from a friend)
Sentiment: Raindrop Echo Sentiments digi images

Good Morning all! Long time, no talkey.... Sorry, I've been out of the loop for so long, but this weekend I was crafting like nobody's business (what does that even mean, btw...). I had a custom order for 4 mother's day cards that I needed to have done by today, as well as get my mother's and MIL's cards out today, plus get my FIL's birthday card out (his birthday is on Mother's Day this year). I still have 3 more mother's day cards for the pastor's wives in my husband and I's lives and a 3 more birthday cards, but I still got 7 cards done this weekend so I was pretty happy.

I didn't take a pictures of my FIL's birthday card or my MIL's card (oops), and one of the pictures for the custom order didn't save in my email, so I will post that one tomorrow. Below are pictures of my mom's card as well as three of the cards that I made for my boss.

And.... as I actually remembered to write down the brands before I left for work tomorrow I can remember the supplies today, lol.... I kept the designs similar for many of the cards, since I was putting together so many in such a short period of time...
