Die Cut Machine

Soooo, my supervisor was SUPER generous in what she gave me for doing those photo albums... and I now think I will use the money to buy a die cut machine...

This is the one I am thinking of, any thoughts???

  1. Well, hopefully someone who knows anything about anything will give you their opinion. =) I guess I would consider the cost of the die's in purchasing a machine, as well as the machine.

It actually looks like my fabric cutter...though probably on a smaller scale. =)

    Have fun shopping!

  2. That's the one I recommend! I don't have it myself. I have the Cuttlebug, but if I had to do it over again, I'd get the Big Shot. So many of the "big name" crafters I follow use it and love it. It seems to be stronger than the Cuttlebug, too. The only difference is the Cuttlebug can be folded up and the Big Shot can't. It takes up a little more room. But it also doesn't have to be opened on a smooth surface for the suction to work to hold it still like the Cuttlebug. The Big Shot is heavier and doesn't require suction to hold it in place. The Cuttlebug works fine for me, so I'll be keeping it for now, but if I ever see a really good deal on the Big Shot, I'll probably buy it and try to sell my Cuttlebug.

Amy Rysavy has a good review on both machines. I'll see if I can find it for you.
