Today's post are some pictures of some beautiful gifts from my Secret Pal (signed up on Paper Craft Planet - sign ups are closed for the year, but you can sign up again come next October!).
Isn't my Secret Pal generous??? I can't wait until October when I find out who she is and I can thank her :)
Now on to the card :) This year I have decided to try to make one Christmas card a week, starting at the beginning of January. This way I hope to have a nice stock come Christmas time and also will be able to contribute more to a Card Drive for Nursing Homes that I participated in this last year. I have 2 done so far. I created one the week after Christmas, but forgot to take a picture. The second card I created last week. It is white and blue and uses some of the beautiful snowflakes that my Secret Pal sent me!
Hope you likey :)
Supplies:
Paper: Card stock from a standard 12x12 Heavy cardstock pack, patterned paper from a K&Company pack (Target dollar aisle). The rest of the paper were leftover scraps I had laying around
Embellishments: Snowflakes from Secret Pal, ribbon from a friend, blue gem from Secret Pal
Sentiment: Warm Wishes sentiment and stamped snowflake from a small stamp pack I got from the dollar aisle at Michaels (except I bought them after Christmas and only paid $.50 - score! I bought like 4 packs and only spent 2 dollars :) )
How fun that you signed up for a Secret Pal! I've never done anything like that, but it sounds really fun! How often do you guys send?
ReplyDeleteThe card you made is beautiful! Great job, Ash!
How wonderful that you're part of a SS! I have always enjoyed being part of those with my team on Etsy. And what a lovely gift...are those stamps? (You know how clueless I am when it comes to paper crafting!)
ReplyDeleteI like your idea for keeping on top of things...photos, Christmas cards, etc. and I really like this blue one...I have a blue snowflake for my IM avatar...I think they're very pretty!
I hope that you have a wonderful week and it will be great to read more posts and see your creations. God bless! =)
Christy - We have to send at least 5 cards, RAK, etc. per year.
ReplyDeleteAnita - Yup, they are clear rubber stamps. They need mounts to be able to use them (Thankfully stamp mounts were one of hubby's gifts to me for Christmas!)
Hope that you are having a great week!
